By accessing or using PrepGeeks ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

PrepGeeks is an online educational platform that provides study materials, practice questions, and learning tools for medical board examinations including USMLE Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, COMLEX Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and ABIM certification exams.

The Service includes features such as question banks, spaced repetition review systems, progress tracking, and study analytics.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring that your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Subscription and Payments

PrepGeeks offers both free and paid subscription options:

• Free Tier: Limited access to 20 free questions per exam type
• Monthly Subscription: Full access to all questions for purchased exam types, billed monthly
• Lifetime Access: One-time payment for permanent access to purchased exam types

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Service without authorization
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Share, sell, or distribute questions or answers from the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to questions, explanations, images, logos, and software, is the property of PrepGeeks or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific results from use of the Service, including exam scores or pass rates.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPGEEKS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PrepGeeks and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.
